The captain of the Dikefalos spoke about his 3rd championship with the armband of the Union, being the first AEK player to achieve something similar in the last 30 years, while he stressed that he experienced everything he had dreamed of in the yellow and black jersey, and he was also praised by the club's Communications Director, Tasos Tsatalis.

"This year's is the most... beautiful championship! AEK has no limits. We want to be here at the same time next year and discuss the same things.
At first, no one believed in us, but AEK is something you don't talk about much, but you believe in it. Now we are here! I dedicate it first to my family, because my little one is a champion for the first time.
Then to all those who were by this team's side and believed in it. These are the many, because few did not believe in us. I honestly believed it wouldn't be an easy win, but even at 0-1, I knew we would beat Panathinaikos. The "dough" sticks well.
As long as I serve the colors of AEK, I want the team to win. I never cared if I was in the spotlight or if I didn't play a single minute. I wanted AEK to be at the top.
I had dreams as a footballer and AEK gave them to me. I want to give back what AEK gave me. I don't know if I have succeeded, but I am proud of what I have done.
The year I left the armband was my decision, but in the locker room I was the captain. I felt the same as the previous and the next year. I honestly owe it to AEK. Everything I dreamed of since I was little, I achieved with AEK. I will be grateful for a lifetime!"
