A week earlier, the Euroleague decided at its meeting on Easter Tuesday (14/4) to start the 2026-2027 season's championship.
Specifically, the first tip-off for the new season will take place on September 24th and 25th.
Essentially, the teams will enter the championship battle earlier, and this is a factor that will, to some extent, alter the teams' preparations. However, they will not have any problems, given that there are no national team competitions this summer.
