The first leg matches of the Champions League semi-finals are now in the past, as the match between Atletico Madrid and Arsenal took place on Wednesday night (29/4), with the two teams drawing 1-1.
This was, of course, preceded by Tuesday's epic match in Paris, where European champions Paris Saint-Germain won by a... cosmic 5-4 against Bayern Munich, despite having been leading by as much as 5-2.
Now, everyone is awaiting next week's second legs, with the supercomputer of Football Meets Data presenting the most likely final pairing for this year's final, which will take place in Budapest on May 30th.
According to the algorithm, Arsenal - Paris Saint-Germain has the highest probability, at 47.1%.
This is followed by Arsenal - Bayern Munich with 34.5%. It seems that the supercomputer has... taken for granted the qualification of Mikel Arteta's team, even though the Londoners do not even have a qualification advantage.
With 10.3% we have Atletico Madrid - Paris Saint-Germain, while Atletico Madrid - Bayern Munich gathers 8.1%.
