AEK, with its victory over Panathinaikos and Olympiacos' draw with PAOK, was "crowned" champion for the 14th time in its history and at the same time secured its ticket to the Play Offs of the Champions League.
The Double-headed Eagle needs one qualification to compete in the League Phase of the top interclub competition, and it remains to be seen whether it will be in the strong group in the draw on August 3rd.
Even before the current season ends, AEK has already secured 8.6 million euros from its presence in this European round.
Specifically, participation in the Champions League Play Offs is equivalent to 4.29 million euros, while in the worst-case scenario of being eliminated and continuing in the Europa League League Phase, it will bring in 4.31 million euros.
This amount does not include the value pillar, which remains to be determined.
Similarly, Olympiacos, with its presence in last year's Champions League League Phase, brought in over 10 million euros.
A characteristic of the financial difference with the Conference League is that AEK, with its course from the 2nd qualifying round to the quarterfinals, "locked in" approximately 11 million euros.
If the Double-headed Eagle manages to qualify for the Champions League League Phase, then the club's revenues will start from 18.62 million euros, always without taking into account the value pillar.
