Unique moments are being experienced since the evening of Tuesday (31/3) by Bosnia, as the national team of the country has qualified for the 2026 World Cup, after 12 years of absence.
After the victory over Italy in the penalty shootout, the Bosnians returned to the tournament, which was celebrated by the entire population of the capital.
Despite the rainfall, the streets of Sarajevo filled up after the final whistle, while during the match, a crowd of fans had gathered in a central location of the city to watch the progress of the game against the Azzurri.
In photos that circulated, it was seen that a sea of people had formed in a large square of Sarajevo while chaos prevailed on the streets, with traffic jams from cars, as people celebrated holding flares in their hands.
